This summer I signed up Allan, Nathan, Joshua, and Emily for swim team
on the Plano Aquaducks. I switched teams for two reasons. They are
broken up by age into four groups. 6-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13+. So I have a
kid in every age group and they all swim at the same time. They have
about 12 swimmers in every group using 2-3 lanes. The second reason is
the pool. This is a very large indoor pool. I love that because it is
not cancelled because of weather and I do not have to worry about
sunscreen. The coaches are amazing and I impressed with their history of
swimming in high school and college. This has been one of the very best
summers of swim team.

| Didn't quite make it. :) |
| Britton, her coach, in the grey t-shirt is the sweetest coach and is perfect for Emily. She is always positive and gets Emily to do things that I didn't think she could do like a 25 butterfly. Emily has improved drastically in a short amount of time. |
| Allan is a fast swimmer. |
| And look at that start. :) |
| Nathan is also a strong swimmer. |
| His diving is pretty good but his strength is back stroke and flip turns. |
| Occasionally, they play games at swim team. Today was a day of Water Polo. It is quite a workout. |
| Another thing they work on in Allan's group is treading water holding onto a 10 pound brick covered in plastic, swimming with it, and diving for it at 11 feet deep water. Allan is the youngest in his group but does well. |
