Smithsonian Museums

We had so much fun in Washington DC visiting many of the Smithsonian Museums. Parking was difficult but it let us see a lot of down town and we were spoiled driving my brother's custom van. The kids loved being able to watch movies in a surround sound setting and I was grateful to have the headphones. Thanks Kevin and Shannon!

At the Air & Space Museum, we saw Apollo 11, lots about space exploration, and we saw tons of different planes.

Here we are posing inside of a shark mouth. We saw the biggest jellyfish. It was huge and creepy but Rachel LOVED the gigantic whale displayed above.

At the Museum of Natural History, we loved seeing the dinosaurs, bugs, sea creatures, gems and rocks.

Rachel LOVES her stroller. She notices when anyone else is sitting in her stroller and immediately reclaims it.

At the Museum of American History, we saw the Star Spangled Banner on display and learned a lot about American History during the war.
