Riverwoods

I'd heard about how beautiful the lights at the Riverwoods were at Christmastime but have never been.

Oh, my goodness, it is so magical!

Yes. This outdoor mall is that cool.

There was firepits & warmers on every corner which we needed.

Our Texas blood is not use to these cold temperatures and Allan wore shorts with a t-shirt with a hooded sweatshirt.

The lights glimmered EVERYWHERE!

They had carriage rides and Santa to visit but we didn't have time to do it and it was cold of course.

We visited Blickenstaff's toy store. It is a super fun toy store that felt like Santa's workshop. This tree behind Emily is made completely of candy.

The kids ooohed & aaaahed looking at all the toys. Nathan and Joshua zoomed in on the legos.

The toy displays were amazing. I loved the trains from the ceiling and the kids loved trying out all of the toys. It definitely was a unique shop worth visiting.
