Sliding Rock

On Tuesday July 3, we planned to hike Timp Cave but the tickets were sold out until the 4:00 time so Melissa took us on a hike to Sliding Rock.

We were unprepared in clothing but we still all got wet. It was an easy short hike.

Allan and Nathan waited for a little while and then Allan came down first with Nathan behind.

Allan loved it so much that he went down multiple times.

 

The slide is a quick slide.

And the water is cold since it is melted snow runoff.

Since Allan and Nathan did it, they talked Joshua into trying it.

Again, the water is cold but Joshua loved it and did it a few times.

On the last time going down the slide, the boys talked Maxwell into doing it.

The girls hung out at the bottom and got wet in shallow water.

To end the hike, Jacob went to the top to explore and take the boys "adventuring." He slipped and fell in the water. He was lucky his iphone still worked and his wallet wasn't damaged. So now that he was wet, he took a turn coming down the natural slide.
