Star Wars Party at the Library

Fall is officially here. The temperatures dropped to 50 degrees while a storm blew through so we pulled out our jackets and sweatshirts. By Monday, the temperatures will be back up to 70.
My boys love Star Wars so of course this was an event that couldn't be missed. Rachel was scared to death of this Storm Trooper and refused to get close even if I was with her. So, no photo with the girls. :(
Joshua also is in a stage where he doesn't want to be embarrassed in public so Jacob had to use the force to get Joshua to pose for this photo. Doesn't he look thrilled?
The most important thing a Jedi has is a lightsaber. They have tons of colors to choose from, but I knew both girls would pick pink. We loved the games (X Box Kinect) and all of the crafts offered. It was a fun party!
May the Force be with You!

Oh, and I just had to document this funny story. When we were at the library, Allan saw his band teacher, Mr Rohr, with his daughter making a lightsaber. Of course they greeted each other and Allan immediately came over and told me about it. "My social life is ruined." Ha ha. He said,"I'll just say to my class, I had to go because my parents made me and it was a family thing." We are loving the Junior High years.
