Last Day of School

Today was the last day we walked to school with Allan.

Nathan and Joshua decided to ride their bikes.

It was a bittersweet day for me. Allan's last day was spent helping different teachers cleanup their classrooms and having a 6th Grade wii bowling championship. I have loved his teachers - Mr. Vardemann, Mrs. Phillips, and Mrs. King.

The ceremony was amazing as they cheered loudly as each kid received a certificate. Next was a slide ceremony of their baby pictures. So sweet!

Ring out the 6th Graders, also known as Tears and Cheers. This is when the 6th Graders walk the halls for the last time while all of the kids line the halls and congratulate/high five, etc.. I saw quite a few 6th grade girls crying and a few mothers as well. Allan was SO happy that my eyes were dry.

After that we had a balloon launch outside. There are about 80 kids from the 6th Grade.

I'm so proud of this kid. He made the Honor Roll - all A's. But more importantly, he does the right things for the right reasons.

Future Graduating Class of 2017 - Garrett, Cameron, Evan, Teddy, Sean, Allan, and Ish - I love these kids. They have fun together and are down to earth good kids.
