Destin

On the way to Orlando, we stopped in Destin for a few hours.
Yahoo, the beach! We were ALL happy to be there, especially after being in the car for so many hours. Emily was so happy to go to the beach for the first time. Rachel was ready to leave after a few minutes because she didn't like having sand on her. Jacob helped her wash it off in the waves and then she got used to it and loved it.The kids swam even though it was a bit cold.
Destin definitely has some of the best beaches. We had a few sand fights, jumped waves, dug holes, collected shells, splashed, and swam. The beaches had pristine white-sand.
And I was so grateful for showers to clean all the sand off before we drove another 5-6 hours to get to Orlando.
