Travel to Utah and Home again

 We crawled out of bed at 4:45 am after the fireworks on Wed made it back home by 2:30 am Friday morning. That last hour of the drive is truly a test of patience and endurance. I had the kids up for swim team at 7 am. Jacob return to work on Friday and will wake up at 2 am on Monday to take 8 scouts to scout camp and spend 3 dayscamping in 100+ degree weather. (Allan and Nathan are actually very excited and will be there for the full week.)

  The drive is beautiful and scenic but oh so very long. Our kids are generally well behaved in the car but we survive on technology. We played quite a few games, watched a movie, listened to The Hobbit, and slept. It was so nice to sleep in our own beds. We had a fun time with everyone. Until next time...
