Ice Skating

It wouldn't be Christmas without going iceskating at The Peaks. It was so much skating with all of the family. Thanks Brandon for taking the pictures. This was Emily's first time and she did great. It sure helped to have this ice skate walker. It made learning to balance easy. Joshua picked up on it quickly of course he had to fall a few times to learn. We can't wait to go next year.

Hoot Hollering Good Time while Sledding

We went sledding twice while in Utah at Rock Canyon Park. The first time was when a lot of the snow had melted. It was warm, actually hot when you are all bundled up. The second time we went it was 18 degrees and with tons of fresh snow. We only went for about an hour but had fun sledding with the cousins. We tried all different kinds of tricks from going backwards, making a chain, taking a running start and riding on your stomach, and even snowboarding. Nathan was the "wild man" this year and couldn't get enough of it. Emily and Rachel loved it too.

Color Me Mine

To celebrate Allison's birthday, we went to Color Me Mine. We had so much fun choosing a ceramic pottery piece and painting it. All of the kids enjoyed it and loved creating their own piece. To end the party, we stopped at McDonalds. Fun, fun par-tay!

Hello Snow!!!

When driving to Utah through Price Canyon, the kids were so excited about the falling snow. It was a little dangerous driving but we were blessed to be following a snow truck. There was huge disappointment when we arrived in Provo and it was raining. The next day it snowed. We played in it almost everyday. Snowball fights, snowmen, snow angels, snow shoveling, and snow forts. You're never too old to play in the snow.

My New Scout

Joshua has been to many, many scout meetings so when he turned eight and became a cubscout, he already knew the scout promise as well as many other basic things about scouts. Joshua loves scouts. It was so fun when he was awarded his Bobcat award. The ceremony was memorable.
